Les Monts Jura

Between the "Valserine" and the "Pays de Gex", the "Haute Chaine du Jura" presents the higher summit of the massif : "
Le Crêt de la Neige" with a 1717 m heigth. This allows downhill skiing resorts as well as numbers of hiking ways to discover astounding points of views to the Swiss and Franch Alps.

 
       
La Vallée de la Valserine
The Valserine river rises at the bottom of the Jura plateau. After going through the small villages of Mijoux, Lelex and Chezery besides the "Monts Jura" to end into the Rhone within the very center of Bellegarde.


       
Les Hautes Combes
Main entry point of the "Haut Plateau", the "Hautes Combes" provides a very specic nordic environment from the "Foret du Massacre" to the "Cirque de Avalanches" and the village of Giron. Being a very priviledged point of view to the Monts Jura, the "Hautes Combes" also present small villages like La Pesse or Lajoux, where is located the "Maison du Parc Naturel Regional du Haut Jura".   


       
Le Plateau du Haut Bugey

Termined in the North by the abrupt cliffs of the "Cluse de Nantua" and in the East by the smoother slopes of "La Michaille",  the plateau "Cuvery-Retord" offers wild areas, ideally featured for snow shoes hiking and Cross-country Skiing.
